This workshop is aimed at absolute beginners through self-taught intermediates and covers a wealth of information about organisation, editing and exporting.  If you are struggling to get going with Lightroom or you have been using it for a while but know that you are only using a small amount of the power of this amazing program, this is the ideal workshop for you.

By the end of the day you will be confidently importing and organising images, performing a wide range of adjustments and exporting your images for email, printing and social media.

 

Your Tutor

Adrian Beasley delivers post processing training all over the UK for many of the UK's leading photographers and photo holiday companies.  Adrian has been teaching photography and post processing for 15 years and is an Adobe Certified Expert.

Adrian lives in Barnstaple so these workshops are offered at a significant discount.

Location & Facilities

We will be based upstairs in the lovely Pilton Arts building, next to the church at the top of Pilton Street (The Old School, Pilton, EX31 1QT).  The group size is limited to 10 to ensure plenty of help and support.

 

Parking: There is limited parking on Pilton Street, however, full day parking is available either on Pilton Causeway (6 min walk) or Fairview (8 min walk).

Note: there are 3-flights of steps up to the workspace

 

Tea & coffee and a sandwich lunch are provided!

What to bring

1) Your own computer - Laptop or desktop (remember you need to get up/down the stairs)

2) A copy of Lightroom.  If you don't have Lightroom, download the 7-day trial a few days ahead of the workshop.

3) A camera card with some images to practice importing. However, I will provide sample images for all the exercises, so it doesn't matter what sort of images you bring.

A high quality 80-page printed workbook is available to buy at a discount on the day for £10 (usually £20) if you don't want to write anything down.
