MonoArt is a series of six, small group photography sessions, aimed at supporting your development as a Black and White photographer.

I am very honoured that many people return to these groups over and over enjoying the connections they make and as a way of completing photography projects.

These sessions are aimed at helping you to improve your B&W photography skills in a small and enthusiastic group. Each session lasts 3.5hrs and includes individual reviews of your work (including any homework I have set) and a group training session from me on B&W focused topics. You will also receive 2 x 1hr 1-2-1 sessions over the duration of the course, dates to be arranged during the course.

The social dynamic of these groups is a hugely important part and seeing the work of others is very inspiring. Equally, receiving and giving feedback as part of a group will help you to understand your own work.

At each session, you will be able to share your work, give and receive critical comments, take part in some live editing and learn aspects of B&W photographic practice. In my training slots I cover B&W specific shooting, editing and printing, including book making.

These sessions are a natural compliment to my tool training workshops and help you to apply the ideas learned to your own work over a longer period.

Every session is recorded so that you wont miss anything if you cannot make a specific date. If you are going to be away, you can still submit work for review or even send in a short video to continue to take part in the classes.

Pre-requisites:

• This Class is for Black & White photography only

• You don't need any experience in B&W photography

Adrian is an Adobe Certified Expert with over 20-years of experience leading photo editing training sessions in Photoshop, Lightroom and Printing.
