This exclusive workshop combines the art of Cornwall photography with the craft of handmade bookbinding.

Whether you're a seasoned photographer or just starting your journey, we will guide you through techniques to truly capture the essence of St Ives. We'll explore the best photographic locations, from the bustling harbour to the serene beaches and atmospheric streets.

Location, Accommodation, Transport

You will be staying at the Pedn Olva Hotel on the edge of the cliffs, 5 minutes walk from Porthminster beach.

You will be staying on a single occupancy Bed, Breakfast, snack lunch and Dinner (2-course) basis. We have a mix of rooms all of which are en-suit. Rooms will be allocated at random.

Start and End timing

The workshop starts at 2pm on the first day and finishes at 4pm on the last day.

The first session will involve personal introductions, introduction to the workshop and schedule, and an orientation walk, followed by an evening meal.

Breakfast, packed lunch and two-course evening meals are included.

Pre-requisites:

• No previous experience is needed, especially for the editing, printing and book making elements. Training and tools will be provided during the workshop.

• You need to bring a computer for the editing and selection session. If you do not have a suitable computer, we may be able to loan one but please check with us before booking.

• Please make sure you have suitable travel and equipment insurance.
