Made in Venice

This workshop is 4-days and 3-Nights

You will be working with Adrian and Clea Beasley and a special guest local photographer for the duration of the workshop

Clea and I are very excited to be able to offer this special photography and book making workshop. We are collaborating with a local photographer/artist, born on Giudecca, who brings his personal experience and a small boat for our exclusive use.

Part of the workshop will include a dawn and dusk boat trip (weather permitting) out onto the water in a small boat for a unique perspective of the floating city.

We will also visit a local paper maker to see how he creates hand made papers on the island. We will use some of that paper to print some of your images. In addition, we will use your images to create a handmade book.

With 4 clients and 3 leaders you will have plenty of attention and support with photography, editing, printing and book making. You will return home with a personal and unique keep-sake of your visit.

The workshop starts at 5pm on 1st February 2027

The workshop ends at 4pm on the 4th February 2027

If you are an infrequent traveller to these parts, we highly recommend adding some extra nights to explore before or after the workshop.

Accommodation and basis

Your accommodation will be double bedded for single occupancy with private en-suite facilities. More details will be provided after booking along with information about travelling to Venice from the nearest airport.

Reaching Venice

You will receive full details of how to get to Venice and your accommodation from Marco Polo or Treviso airports after booking.

Prerequisites

• You need to be comfortable riding in a small boat that we will use for dawn and dusk photography.

• No previous experience is needed, especially for editing, printing and book making.

• Training and tools will be provided during the workshop.

• You need to bring a laptop for editing but you could use a phone or iPad.

• Please make sure you have suitable travel and equipment insurance in the event of cancellation by you or us.
